The Macomb County Veteran Navigator helps veterans navigate through federal, state, and community resources to address their concerns and needs. Part of the Macomb County Community Mental Health team, the Veteran Navigator serves as an advocate for veterans and their families.
The Veteran Navigator helps veterans and their families obtain benefits, join support groups, get transportation, find employment, obtain housing and serves as an advocate for disability services, substance use challenges and other health issues. Drawing on a strong network of resources, the Veteran Navigator provides help to those who served, or are currently serving, our country.
A veteran is anyone who served in the military for any length of time, and who was discharged with any status.
These services are also available to active military and their families.
